Today, the joke is usually made that Instagram is for the aesthetic, Twitter is for the jokes, and Facebook is…well, Facebook. One of the best parts of the Twitter community is the level of honesty that comes with a tweet. It gives us a look into the real personalities of our favorite performers.
We’ve created a list of the 8 performers that have perfected the game of communicating to the masses in 280 characters or less:
Laura Benanti
Laura’s tweets make this Tony Award winning actress completely relatable on our level. From sharing adorable photos and videos of her daughter, Ella, to her love for what she gets to do every day — she’s bound to put a smile on your face!
Ben Platt
Whether he is singing a song about the controversies of certain U.S. holidays, or he is tweeting about being a dad one day – We can’t help but smile when Ben Platt shares his thoughts.
Jessica Vosk
Known for her sweet pup, Fred, and her incredible notes while belting ‘Defying Gravity’ both on tour and on Broadway, Jessica Vosk is the ultimate encouragement on Twitter. She’s as authentic as they come, and to top it off, hilarious.
Audra McDonald
Audra stands for equality and justice. It’s clear she is passionate about using her Twitter platform and influence for those being overlooked in the world. And 👏we 👏are 👏here 👏for 👏it 👏
Katherine McPhee
The amount of sass on Kat’s feed — we are living for it. Anyone else still crossing their fingers for a Smash revival show?
Lin Manuel Miranda
These are the tweets you want to read right when you wake up, and right before you fall asleep.
