A former royal, she has become cynical from years of turning away actresses and fortune seekers. When Anya meets the Empress and finally breaks her exterior, she finds the everlasting warmth and love of family she has been missing.

Countess Lily is the Dowager Empress’ right-hand in Paris, and the jovial and passionate comedic counterpart to Vlad Popov. She orchestrates the Empress’ search for the real Princess Anya while being endlessly energetic and nostalgic for her former life as a Russian noble. She is delighted to be reunited with Vlad who has accompanied Anya and Dmitry to Paris.

Auditioning for Vlad Popov (Baritone)


Russian ex-noble Vlad schemes with conman Dmitry to present Anya as the lost Anastasia. Although he initially faked his way into nobility and now seeks the Empress’ reward and a reunion with his former lover Countess Lily, he ultimately drops all personal gains to reunite Anya with her family. He is witty, genuinely good-hearted, and the comedic counterpart to Countess Lily.
