#giglife: Hotel Living for Singers

Are you living your best #giglife or #tourlife? This is what the touring pros do to make their hotel rooms performer-ready.

1. Unpack immediately when you get there and hide those suitcases!

2. Become a clean freak.

Disinfect the bathroom, the TV remote, the light switches. Even if the hotel is already super clean, it’ll make you rest easy.

3. Bring some comfy slippers.

4. Bring on da noise, bring on da sleep with a white noise machine or app.

5. Get a streaming device so you can have chill nights at “home.”

6. Skip the freebies.

Consider bringing your own toiletries instead of relying on the hotel’s stash. Nobody wants to rely on an unknown shampoo when they’ve got shows or press to do!

7. It just makes scents.

Pack a mini-oil diffuser and a blend of oils that relaxes you (try lavender!), and turn it on immediately. Make sure you reset the timer when you leave the room — when you come back, you’ll be greeted by your own private spa.

8. Bring along your favorite faces in photo frames.

9. Deck the halls — anytime.

If you’re on tour, keep baubles or decorative streamers in your touring trunk or your suitcase, and your hotel room will automatically feel like a magic space!

10. Think ahead.

When you’re packing for the next city, pack everything you need for that city in one section in your luggage, and when you get there, just unpack that.
