The bad girl in musical theatre — not to be confused with the Villain — is a character that is all about living life without limits or rules, especially with their sexuality. How openly the character expresses themselves typically depends on the age of the musical. The bad girl role is rarely the lead and is usually sung by a secondary female character. The bad girl could be anything from a street worker to a good girl gone bad.
