The 15 Biggest “Theatre Dork” Indicators In My Room

Written by Clark Levi

Hi! I’m Performer Stuff contributor Clark Levi…and I’m a theatre dork. Every theatre kid has at least one thing in their room that identifies them as “a theatre nerd.” The 15 things below let everyone know that I’m a bonafide theatre kid, and I’m proud of it.

1. The infamous T Shirt.

2. This one, too.

3. This precarious stack of plays.

4. This Shakespeare calendar.

5. And speaking of Shakespeare…

6. This sassy box decoration: “Yes I am dramatic and it looks like you just stepped on my stage and would make a nice prop.”

7. This fan that is definitely NOT from the Dollar Store…

8. And this hat.

9. A small spotlight, set up and ready to go.

10. This poster.

11. This one too.

12. This superlative from a high school theatre banquet.

13. This custom cover sheet on my bed.

14. And finally, this beat up book from 4th grade of the first show I was ever in.

15. But most importantly, the great memories they all represent.

So what about you? What wacky objects do you have lying around your room? Go searching! You might find some nostalgic memories along the way.
