For Our Mothers and Fathers is a short piece that focuses on a moment between three teenage girls at a rock and roll music camp. They are in the middle of the woods, all of them seeking solitude in order to write music, but finding only the company of each other. For Our Mothers and Fathers was workshopped this summer by Stella Adler Studio (Director: Melissa Ross) and developed in part with the support of Voice & Vision Theater at the 2009 Envision Retreat for Women Theatre Artists at Bard College.see less
