A young man - would-be writer - gets invited to the apartment of his “idol” Hanna Van Krogt. Her personal life is as mysterious as the baroque stories she writes. The young man tries to seize – steal if you like - her secrets of creation as well as who she really is. “Lady Magic” was created in Paris at the Théâtre de la Mainate where it ran for five months. The following year it was performed at the Grand Palais, followed by a conference on Alan Rossett entitled: Why Does an American Write in French? It was published in L’Avant-scène Théâtre.
