Kevin Lottes is a playwright of several produced plays, including Paralyzed July, Cracking Nuckols, A New Country at an Old Address, and Paperback Jack. Monologues from his plays appear in Classroom Scenes and Monologues (Dramatic Publishing) and in several editions of the Audition Arsenal Anthology Series (Smith & Krauss, Inc.). His selected prose has appeared in The Good Things About America (Write Bloody Publishing) anthology, Filigree, and Talkin Blues. He is the author of the story collection, First Person Last. His short story “Glued Sawdust” won the Bob Dylan Days First Place Prize for Fiction. Washrag & other stories is his audiobook debut, featuring original music by Musico Zurdo (Melodic Lingo). He is currently a mentor for the Third Annual Young Writers Short Play Festival at MadLab Theatre. He occasionally takes pictures with his 35mm Canon Sure Shot, works with horses, goes fly fishing, and picks on his ol' Silvertone guitar.
