We all love to see Broadway shows when we’re visiting NYC, but sometimes budgets won’t allow us to indulge. Never fear! We have a list of ways to see shows without breaking your bank.

1. Broadway For Broke People

This website features alll the cheap ways to see shows, but it’s only available on a desktop. The website lists every show currently on Broadway with links to online rush and digital lotteries.

2. Today’s Tix App

With Today’s Tix App you’ll score last-minute theater tickets at any price, from discount rush tickets to premium orchestra seats. It’s like TKTS for your phone!

3. Rush Tickets or Standing Room Only

If you have the time and are willing to wait around, you can try one of the methods below for cheaper last minute tickets, but you have to get to the theatre early.

  • Rush tickets: offered at the box office, but get there early.
  • Standing room tickets are awesome, but are only sold once a performance is sold out.

4. TKTS

TKTS is the old standby for tickets in NYC. It’s now available in a digital app, or you can find one of the many locations in NYC. You can buy same day tickets for up to 50% off the original price!

5. Other random ways to score tickets…

  • Cancelation Lines: Call the box office on the day of the show! If people have cancelled, sometimes you can score their tickets.
  • Craigslist: Check on the day of, and you could get lucky!
  • Playbill and Theatre Mania: Both websites offer deals on tickets.
