After this she joined Scottish Opera, with whom she performed in\u00a0<em>Der Rosenkavelier<\/em>, <em>Die Meistersinger, Die Fledermaus, L\u2019Elisir d\u2019Amore, Tosca<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Egisto.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theatre includes:<\/strong>\u00a0<em>The Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, The Beggar\u2019s Opera, Annie,<\/em>\u00a0Sister Margaretta in\u00a0<em>The Sound of Music<\/em>\u00a0(UK tour), the hit West End musical\u00a0<em>Chess <\/em>and\u00a0<em>Fiddler on the Roof<\/em>\u00a0(Theatre Royal, Plymouth). Seasons followed in\u00a0<em>Born Again<\/em> (Chichester Festival Theatre<em>),\u00a0Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>\u00a0(Palace) and\u00a0<em>The Phantom of the Opera<\/em>\u00a0(Her Majesty\u2019s), in which she played Madame Giry at many performances. He spent 15 years in London\u2019s West End working on shows such as \u201cSteel Magnolias\u201d, \u201cTaboo \u2013 The Boy George Musical\u201d and original productions of \u201cThe Woman in Black\u201d \u201cBuddy\u201d and \u201cThe Phantom of the Opera\u201d. In 1998 Mark joined the acclaimed \u201cCirque du Soleil\u201d troupe, touring the world with \u201cAlegria\u201d, \u201cQuidam\u201d and \u201cAmaluna\u201d. He moved to Las Vegas in 2004 to take up residence with them on \u201cZumanity\u201d and then to Tokyo in 2010 with \u201cZED\u201d where he became Artistic Director. He gave a<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ba9bc9;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ba9bc9; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/WFC_s6odYQg\" target=\"_blank\"> TEDx Talk<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in Edmonton, Canada in 2013 on \u201cThe Future of Inspiration\u201d and left Cirque after 16 years, in 2014.
